Peel Hunt Redburn Atlantic’s head of electronic trading has left the firm to join UK investment bank Peel Hunt, as revealed by The TRADE. He replaces Nishad Vallonthaiel as head of electronic trading. He replaces Nishad Vallonthaiel as head of electronic trading. A spokesperson for Peel Hunt confirmed the move.
BMO CapitalMarkets has appointed Harj Bagria within its electronic trading division, The TRADE can reveal. Elsewhere in his tenure at Credit Suisse, Bagria held APAC equity trading and electronicsales trading positions, based in Hong Kong. Bagria joins BMO from Credit Suisse, where he spent nearly five years.

Kepler Cheuvreux’s execution sales specialist Cherry Albon is set to join Berenberg next year, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. Albon has been appointed associate director, senior sales for EMEA electronic trading and program trading, set to join the firm in February next year.
He originally joined HSBC in 2014 as a developer for front office data, working his way up to his most recent role as head of AI for markets and securities services which he served in for four years. Carter joined BrokerTec from Morgan Stanley, where she most recently served as executive director for client financing sales.

He has also helped shape the firm’s liquidity strategy by guiding clients through the complexities of European equity markets. Before joining TD Cowen, Baugh spent five years at Citi as European head of market structure. Prior to joining BNY, she was the co-head of equities electronicsales and trading EMEA for RBC CapitalMarkets.
