Ameni joined Nomura from Jefferies, where he held senior leadership positions, most recently serving as managing director for emerging markets (EM) credit trading. Before that, Ameni was a member of Nomura’s EM credit trading desk in London, until 2016.

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) promoted one of its own to the role of head of US equity and foreign exchange trading. Corrigan joined LGIM in 2016 as a trader in equity and FX trading, receiving a promotion to senior trader in 2019.

In 2016, Nutting moved to Principia Investment Management Limited where she was an execution trader and fund manager assistant.

During his time with the asset manager, Taitz was responsible for Invesco’s fixed income trading desks in the US, UK and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Invesco in 2016, Taitz spent two and a half years at RBC Capital Markets in a fixed income role and 10 and a half years at UBS Investment Bank as an executive vice president.

Head of London equity trading at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Mark Perry, has retired The TRADE revealed. He joined as a permanent fixture in 2016 as a graduate analyst in the markets division and later moved into equity sales trading in 2018.

He joins Barclays after almost 12 years with SSGA, originally joining the firm in 2013 in a trade support role before moving into an equity and derivatives trading role in 2016. Previously in his career, he undertook several banking, capital markets, and portfolio management internships across PwC, KPMG UK, BlackRock, and Jefferies.
