It’s not a likely interview topic, and it goes against my normal advice to focus on the core concepts , learn them very well, and skip the bells and whistles. To be fair, in some industries – like commercial banks and insurance within FIG – the DDM is a core valuation methodology. But outside of those, its status is murkier.
