He later moved into a role as chief executive of SIX’s structure products exchange in 2013, rising up the ranks to chief executive of SIX Swiss Exchange in 2020. Prior to that, Tan held a global markets, APAC cash equities position based in Singapore. This included equities sales trading positions for both the Americas and EMEA.
