Duke University
Duke University is a highly respected U.S. university and is one of the only schools with both great athletics and great career options. Duke provides a very well-rounded education and has a history of consistent placement into finance.
Duke ranks #14 on our investment banking target school list, which would classify it as a target school. Duke routinely sends students into the top investment banks every year and is a well-recognized brand on Wall Street.
Duke is home to the Fuqua School of Business, one of the country's top postgraduate business programs. While Duke is not an Ivy League school, Duke is recognized as one of the "Hidden Ivys" due to its smaller class sizes and academic rigor. Duke's Fuqua School of Business does not have an undergraduate student program.
Duke has an impressive "Undergrad Placement %" of 1.50%, ranking #10 overall on our list by this metric. This indicates that Duke students have a relatively strong chance of breaking into investment banking.
Duke's ranking is held back by its # of Total Hires, ranking only #17 on our list. This results from Duke's small student population.
